I’ve never had any reason to join the workforce as factory or Wearhouse worker in my first phase in living in The Netherlands. I am an entrepreneur and lucky enough, my ex was an entrepreneur too. She was a co-director in textile industry, employing over 150 workers. I went into Car rental business.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.
However, at the later stage, I had to diversify to generate income and decided to be hired at a warehouse through job agencies (Randcity, Tempo Crew etc.). It was a different world out there, most of the workers are from different culture, mainly, fellow immigrants.
Most common general attitude in such places among the workers are that of the plantation mentality (Master and Slaves), back biting and backstabbing each other. The most unnoticeable activities in the environment running in the background are the cultish like activities in those environments. These cults run the whole Factory/Warehouse. Who gets to keep his/her job, who gets a permanent contract. A person that you considered just a junior worker next to you might oversee the recommendation about which director to be hired or fired in the company or which job agency is suitable to hire employees for the company.

Your house keys or the food you left in lockers at those factories are not totally safe. You are mostly required to leave your belongings and food behind in the locker and walk through metal detector at most factories and those lockers could be opened with other keys while you are away. Some workers became so sick and couldn’t continue the job.
It is so sad that even if your goal is to be there to work. I observed some dubious and criminal activities at some warehouses. Don’t be naïve that your homes are not visited while you are at work by those gangs. While you are at work, your home could be visited if you leave alone. Access into your apartment is possible because you have to leave your keys in locker at the entrance of the factory, whereas those lockers are accessible even when you have it locked. Your food could be contaminated. Some healthy workers suddenly become sick. I had cameras installed at my home for such uninvited intruders or eventualities for my own security. These are the indications of cult activities at those workplaces, and you have to be vigilant. Those companies may still exist today like CXO, Averta while people like Ben, Bshop, Dapson and a dude called Lawrince are some culprits you have to look out for in those places.
